The Scenius Pro. continues to develop its advocacy work for/with the Deaf community with Hear! Here! In 2016, as we tried to break barriers by removing major modes of communication of both hearing and non-hearing (Speaking and Signing), we were able to share an experience on a common, same ground – through sight, touch, and taste - together.
The process closely interacts and immerses with the community to make a performance which is largely led and participated by Deaf friends. We are looking at the possibilities of experiencing music at a different height – the rhythm, beat – as that of a Fellowship. This aims to discover more potentials the community can share and also hope to, somehow, help us, abled persons, to ignite change on how we see ourselves and the society.
